What is a “goal” or “stretch goal”?

A goal is a specific amount of funding to reach. Once that amount is unlocked, the corresponding pin will be produced.

What happens if a pin’s goal is not reached?

That pin will not be produced. But don’t worry, at the end of the campaign, you’ll be able to adjust your pledge and choose from the designs that have been unlocked.

When will the surveys be sent out? / What if you lost your survey link?

Surveys will be sent after BackerKit’s approval, starting with a small smoke test group before being opened to everyone.

If you’ve lost your survey link, just leave me a message in the Community section, and I’ll send it to you again 💌

What is the BackerKit survey?

The BackerKit survey is the form that allows me to collect all the information I need to send your rewards. Through this survey, you’ll be able to:

Confirm your shipping address, choose your pin designs, Add extra items through the add-ons section if you wish.

It’s a simple step, but a very important one. I can’t ship your rewards until your survey is completed. Once it’s ready, you’ll receive an email from BackerKit with your personal survey link

How can I update my shipping address?

You can edit your address directly on BackerKit while the survey is open. I’ll post a reminder before addresses are locked, so there’s no need to worry :)

Are freebies added automatically?

The “early bird” mini pin freebie is added automatically, it will appear directly in your cart.

Likewise, the “Cat-Tastic” freebie is automatically added if you backed 3 or more projects from this group during the campaign.

How long will the survey and project stay open?

The survey will stay open for a limited time so everyone can complete it at their own pace but please remember there’s a deadline to submit it. It’s important to fill it out before the cutoff so I can collect all the information needed for production and shipping.

Like every campaign, the project will also need to be closed once the majority of parcels have been shipped and received. This final step allows everything to be wrapped up properly and for me to focus on future projects 🌷

I’ll announce all deadlines in the Community section, including when the survey closes, when addresses will be locked, and when the project will officially end so you’ll have plenty of time to get organized.

Once the project is closed, it will no longer be possible to fill out the survey or claim rewards. Don’t worry, I’ll make posts in the Community before each deadline and before the closure, so no one misses anything.

Deadlines & timing

Each step of the project has its own timeline. I’ll announce all deadlines in the Community section on BackerKit, so everyone knows exactly how much time they have. Here’s what each step includes: Survey deadline, last day to complete your survey and make your selections. Add-ons cutoff ,last day to add extra items; after this date, cards will be charged for shipping costs and any additional items added during the survey. Address lock date, after this, no address changes can be made. Project closure, once most parcels have been shipped and received, the project will be officially closed.

Once the project is closed, it won’t be possible to fill out the survey or claim rewards anymore. I’ll make posts in the Community section before each deadline and before the final closure, so everyone has time to get organized.

Refunds policy

I completely understand that plans can change, but please note that once the pin production begins, the funds are already committed to manufacturing, so I won’t be able to offer refunds at that stage. Thank you for understanding 🌷

Responsibility for shipping information

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before the address lock date. I’m not responsible for lost parcels due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, but I’ll always try to help if possible 🌷 Thank you for double-checking your information before we start shipping.

When will shipping start?

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
